Of the current proposed plan, a few highlights include:
- Students will be required to wear masks, though there may be situations when they could be removed
- All staff will be provided a face shield and required to wear masks
- Staff and students will have their temperature checked prior to entering the building
- Parents will complete a daily questionnaire prior to student arrival through a district-purchased app
- Additional custodial staff will be hired to aid the implementation of intensive cleaning protocols
According to a letter from Superintendent Brett Charleston, parents will be notified on their student's schedule on Aug. 5. It is at that time when parents will also receive a survey asking them to inform the district whether they would be opting out of in-person learning.
