Oradell police requested the Bergen County Sheriff's Office send officers to a crime scene in town Thursday, officials said.

ORADELL, NJ — The body of Mark Schlegel, a 57-year-old borough resident who had been missing for 11 days, has been found, according to authorities.

Schlegel's body was found by an Oradell police officer Thursday in the bushes off of Kinderkamack Road, according to The Daily Voice.

A search and rescue team was brought in to aid police in their search. The team was going to canvass the area and other predetermined locations the rest of the week and through the weekend.

Schlegel was an agent with Cornerstone Talent Agency in New York City. He was last seen Aug. 13 at 3:30 p.m. when he left his home with a gift bag and was heading for a street just three blocks away, police said. He left behind his keys, wallet and cell phone.

Schlegel's friends started a Go Fund Me page Tuesday with the hope of raising $25,000 to help find him. More than $51,000 has been donated since the page went live.
