Man Killed By NJ Transit Train In Oradell ID'd
An Oradell man was identified as the person killed by an NJ Transit train Wednesday night, NJ Transit said.

ORADELL, NJ — Authorities have identified the man who died after he was struck a NJ Transit train Wednesday night.
The man was Christopher Lubben, 54, an Oradell resident. He died after he was struck just after 7 p.m., said NJ Transit spokeswoman Liz Chamberlain. (See related: Man Killed On Train Tracks In Oradell, NJ Transit Says)
Lubben went to River Dell Regional High School and owned Golden Meat and Provisions, according to his Facebook profile.

Lubben was well-known in town. He was a "jokester," and would pull pranks on people when he delivered them meat, NorthJersey.com reported.
"He was the funniest guy I ever met in my life," Christine Nunn said in the NorthJersey.com report. "He was such a prankster. I'd be in the kitchen in a crappy mood and he'd do something ridiculous."

Lubben was a soccer coach. He is survived by his three children, according to the report.
NJ Transit is investigating Lubben's death, Chamberlain said.
The train left Spring Valley, New York at 6:48 p.m. and was due to arrive in Hoboken at 8:03 p.m., Chamberlain said. None of the 400 passengers and crew on the train reported any injuries.
Mike Iannacci posted his condolences to Lubben's family and friends online Thursday morning.
