Oradell Swim Team Takes Top Spot in Two Events During County Championships

The swimmers from the Oradell Swim Team proved themselves to be half-fish as they brought home two first place wins at the which was held in Hillsdale on Aug. 6.

Specifically Conrad Hoody took first place in the Boys 9 & 10 years-old butterfly, while Julia Lambardi, Emily Reynolds, Gabrielle Denicola and Emily Croonquist took the top spot in the Girls 13 & 14 years-old 200-meter relay.

The rest of the results are below.  

Relays:

• In the mixed 7 & 8 years-old 100-meter boy/girl free relay, Samantha Wittkamp, Gabriel Dunne, James Morrison and Jane Lomardi took fourth place. 
• In the girls 13 & 14 years-old 200-meter medley relay, Julia Lambardi,13, Emily Reynolds,14, Gabrielle Denicola, 14, and Emily Croonquist, 14, took second place.
• In the girls 15 to 17 year-old 200-meter medley relay Eilish Devin,17, Brianna Devin,15,  Madeline Toohey,15, and Laurel Passaretti,16, took second place.
• In the girls 13 & 14 years-old girls 200-meter free relay Lambardi, Reynolds, Denicola and Croonquist took first place.
• In the girls 15 to 17 years-old 200-meter free relay, Devin, Devin, Toohey and Passarreti took third place.

Individual Events:

• James Morrison took second place in the 7 & 8 years-old 25-meter free style.
• Gabrielle Denicola took fourth place in the 13 & 14 years-old girls 100-meter freestyle and fifth place in the 13 & 14 year-olds 50-meter butterfly.
• Daniel Stewart took second place in the 9 & 10 years-old 25-meter backstroke, sixth place in the 9 & 10 years-old 100-meter individual medley and fourth place in the 9 & 10 years-old 50-meter freestyle.
• Conrad Hoody took first place in the 9 & 10 years-old 25-meter butterfly, fourth place in the 9 & 10 years-old 100-meter individual medley and third place in the 9 & 10 years 50-meter freestyle.
• Emily Reynolds took second place in the 13 & 14 years-old girl 200-meter individual medley and fifth place in the 13 & 14 years-old girls 50-meter breaststroke.
• Madeline Toohey  took fifth place in the 15 & 17 years-old girls 50-meter butterfly.

Multiple event medalists:
