$3,000 Bottle Of Wine Stolen From Fair Haven Home

The bottle of wine was reported stolen on July 7, and the homeowners were having work done on the home at the time.

FAIR HAVEN, NJ — As first reported in the latest Fair Haven police blotter, a $3,000 bottle of wine was stolen from a Fair Haven home this past July.

The bottle of wine was reported stolen on July 7, and the homeowners were having work done on the home at the time, said police. The homeowners said their house was not broken into, but they have several suspects — presumably the workers — with no evidence or proof.

Fair Haven police declined to give the location out, since it's a small street and police do not want the home to be further targeted, said Det. Dwayne Reevey. The exact name of the wine was also unknown.
