ASAH Presents ‘President’s Award’ To Executive Director of LADACIN Network

Patricia Carlesimo Recognized for her Work on behalf of Citizens with Disabilities

Rumson, NJ – ASAH, a not-for-profit organization comprised of private schools and agencies that provide highly specialized services to students with disabilities in New Jersey, has awarded Rumson resident, Patricia Carlesimo, Executive Director of LADACIN Network, the President’s Award for her continuous service and dedication to infants, children, and young adults with complex disabilities.

Ms. Carlesimo is the executive director of LADACIN Network, formerly Cerebral Palsy of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, a non-profit organization that provides education, therapy, social, residential and support services for approximately 10,000 people with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities. She began her career there 37 years ago as a Speech Language Pathologist and has been instrumental in the growth of services at the agency.

“Each year, ASAH recognizes someone in our industry who has gone above and beyond in terms of service to our community and the children we serve. Ms. Carlesimo exemplifies the type to commitment that makes our organization strong,” said Dr. Steven Morse, President of ASAH.

In addition to her work with ASAH, Ms. Carlesimo serves as the president of the Board of the Alliance for the Betterment of Citizens with Disabilities, and has served on the Monmouth County Workforce Investment Board, and the Services to People with Disabilities Committee.

The President’s Award will be presented at ASAH’s Annual Membership Meeting in Atlantic City on November 18, 2016.
