BON APPETIT! A TASTE OF FRANCE COMES TO HOLY CROSS SCHOOL

Students Explore the Language, Culture and Cuisine of France

Matthew Camillone thought a croissant dipped in chocolate was “awesome.” Ciara Clifford favored the crepes and Michael Barnwell, who noted, “It’s kind of fun learning about what French people eat.” cast his vote for the chocolate fondue. Holy Cross students in the Fifth Grade French class sampled French cuisine as their term of study neared its close. All Holy Cross students take Spanish, beginning in Kindergarten, and an introductory course in French and Italian in Fifth Grade. The students are looking forward to studying Italian the second half of the year, perhaps in anticipation of pizza!

Holy Cross School delivers a healthy balance of faith formation, academic excellence, and personal growth in a welcoming family atmosphere. Visit www.holycrossschoolrumson.org.
