DWI Checkpoints in Sea Bright, Sea Girt This Weekend

SEA BRIGHT, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting two drunk driving checkpoints this weekend, and they will be in Sea Bright and Sea Girt. The information about both checkpoints is below, released by Brielle Police Chief Michael Palmer, who runs the Task Force.

Sea Bright: The checkpoint will be run from 9 p.m. Friday through 1 p.m. Saturday on Ocean Ave. Task force members and officers from the Sea Bright police department will pull vehicles from the northbound lanes into the Peninsula House parking lot to determine driver’s sobriety.

Sea Girt: The checkpoint will be run from 10 p.m. Saturday through 2 a.m. Sunday on Hwy. 71. Task force members and Officers from the Sea Girt police department will pull vehicles from the southbound lanes onto Crescent Dr. then into the Sea Girt Professional Building parking lot to determine driver’s sobriety.
