Fair Haven National Night Out Tuesday Night
Held behind the Youth Center beginning at 5 p.m. today. Come for the dunk tank, a karate demonstration and to meet McGruff the Crime Dog.

FAIR HAVEN, NJ — You are cordially invited to take part in Fair Haven's National Night Out Against Crime, held Tuesday, Aug. 1. This is the 15th year as a community Fair Haven will be participating in the nationwide annual event.
The gathering point will be the Youth Center behind police headquarters at 5 p.m. There are many fun events planned for this year, including a dunk tank sponsored by the Fair Haven PBA local 184. Fair Haven Karate will have a karate demonstration and McGruff the Crime Dog will also make a guest appearance.

Fair Haven Parks and Recreation will have events for children on the fields tomorrow night. Complimentary food and beverages will be served along with drawings to win special prizes. Also, many local businesses will be available to provide information on the services that they offer to the community.

Fair Haven First Aid and Fair Haven Fire Department will also be sponsoring events.

"It is a great opportunity to come out and meet the members of our police department as well as members of your community," said Sgt. Stephen Schneider of Fair Haven police. "I hope you will all come out to join us and bring your friends and family along for a night of good fun."
