Fire At Monmouth Beach Home Christmas Morning

SEA BRIGHT, NJ — An unoccupied home was completely destroyed by a fire that broke out Christmas morning in Monmouth Beach.

The private home on Valentine Street was under construction when the fire broke out Monday, Dec. 25, Sea Bright Fire & Rescue reported. Nobody was in the home at the time. The fire appeared to have started in the basement, which is where flames were heaviest, and spread to the first floor.

It took 17 members of the volunteer Sea Bright Fire & Rescue to put out the blaze. No injuries were reported.
