Karyn Jarmer publishes her first cookbook

Karyn Jarmer, Head Witch and Owner of My Kitchen Witch, spills secrets.

Spells were cast, potions brewed ... and VOILA! ... the Witch published her first cookbook! The Witch is also known as Karyn Jarmer, the Owner and Head Witch over at My Kitchen Witch in Monmouth Beach. She is proud to present her first cookbook, “A Witch in the Kitchen,” a collection of 15 healthy, hearty soups and stewps from My Kitchen Witch café.

Karyn wants people to be able to make a little Kitchen Witch magic right at home. She started with soups because, “if you don’t cook, soups are a good place to start: they are easy to prepare, healthy and inexpensive. Each of the recipes in this book yields enough soup for ten, but they can be frozen and be just as good as ever when ever you’re ready to eat them.”

“Our stewps are somewhere between a soup and stew,” she added. The recipes in the book include her very popular Chicken and Stars, along with the Split Pea with Turkey Bacon, the Skinnystronie, Carrot and Ginger, Southwestern Sweet Potato Corn Chowder and ten others.
