Local Grief Center Celebrates Anniversary At Rumson Gala
For more than six years Stephy's Place has provided free support services to anyone surviving grief and loss.

RUMSON, NJ — A local support center for grief and loss held a gala at the Rumson Country Club Riverhouse to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the nonprofit.
Stephy's Place was founded in 2015 by Sheila Martello-Diorio, who believed that anyone who has lost a loved one should not have to navigate the journey alone.
On Saturday, April 30, over 300 guests were treated to an evening of drinks, food and music by Danny Wertman and the Moroccan Sheepherders. The gala also featured an auction, with all proceeds benefiting the Marion Fitzgerald and Kevin Keelen endowment fund, which will allow Stephy's Place to continue operating for years to come.
