Missing Rumson Boater, Last Seen In Sandy Hook Bay
A 54-year-old man of Rumson has gone missing from his boat in Sandy Hook Bay, according to the U.S. Coast Guard. Richard O'Day left his home on Shrewsbury Drive from his private dock at around 11 a.m. on Sunday. The next day, around 2:30 p.m., his 27-foot Grady White Freedom boat was discovered anchored in either Spermaceti or Horseshoe Cove, containing his wallet and phone, according to O'Day's sister, Colleen O'Day Rozzi.

Family Of Missing Rumson Boater Continue Search Efforts
The search continues for the 54-year-old Rumson resident who went missing from his boat in Sandy Hook Bay on Sunday afternoon. O'Day's family has organized a search party for Thursday afternoon at Sandy Hook Bay, Spermaceti Cove, parking lots D and E, according to O'Day's sister, Colleen O'Day Rozzi.
Local Rumson Restaurant Helps Fight Food Insecurity In New Jersey
A Rumson restaurant is partnering with New Jersey nonprofit Soup Kitchen 411 for their annual "Taste of the State" event on May 24. Red Horse by David Burke is one of the many New Jersey restaurants taking part in the event to raise $1 million to provide one million meals to soup kitchens throughout the Garden State.
