Mission Accomplished.
These days I feel like I am hit from all angles on “how to get it right”, “what success looks like”, “working moms guide to…” etc. etc. etc. In the moment of Leaning In or Leaning Out, I am wowed by my small victories, in small doses.
This past weekend was a small victory: productive, impactful, and satisfying. A recent new job has left my schedule out of whack, my house a mess, my social life neglected, and my children unruly. This weekend it all came back together in harmony. Like I said, small victories in small doses.

What topped off a great weekend was getting out and promoting The Junior League of Monmouth County at the 21st annual Little Silver 5K on Sunday. This is an organization committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
No matter how hectic life gets personally or professionally giving back puts things in perspective. Volunteering is proven to reduce stress and bring harmony. Thank you JLMC for helping me achieve small victories.
