Rumson police broke up what they are calling a large house party Saturday night on Elm Lane, where teens spilled over into neighbors' yards.

Rumson, NJ - Rumson police broke up what they are calling a "large" house party Saturday night, where teens spilled over into neighbors' yards and were creating loud noises.
At approximately 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, the Rumson police department received a call reporting a large party on Elm Lane. The caller said were multiple juveniles on their lawn and requested a police response.
Police arrived, and found the party in progress, hosted by a local teen, 18, who lives on Elm Lane. Multiple people ran from the property when the officers showed up, and back-up was called in from Fair Haven and Little Silver police.

The teen who hosted the party was arrested and charged with maintaining a nuisance, serving alcoholic beverages to underage persons and disorderly conduct. Another Rumson teen in attendance was charged with underage possession of alcohol.
