Rumson Woman Charged with Stalking

A Rumson woman was indicted last week for allegedly stalking five people, in Woodbridge, Middletown and Rumson.

Rumson, NJ - A Rumson woman was indicted last week for allegedly stalking as many as five different people, men and women, throughout New Jersey.

Anne Chiappetta, 59, a Wardell Avenue resident, allegedly stalked a man in Woodbridge from Nov. 1, 2013 through June 1, 2014, Monmouth County prosecutors charge. He was identified in the criminal complaint only as G.B., to protect his privacy.

From Nov. 1, 2013 through Sept. 30, 2015, she allegedly stalked a Rumson man and woman, identified as J.P. and R.P., respectively.

From Jan. 1, 2014 through Oct. 30, 2015, she stalked a Middletown Township man and woman, prosecutors charge, identified only as J.S. and E.S., respectively.

She was indicted by a grand jury Friday for the alleged crimes, according to the Monmouth County prosecutor’s office.
