8 N.J. Colleges Among Best In America, U.S. News & World Report Rankings Show

New Jersey has the best college in the nation — and seven others were listed among the best in the U.S. News & World Report 2017 rankings that were released Tuesday.

The process of college hunting can lead to information overload, but U.S. News’ rankings are considered an important resource for many. The news organization spends months compiling data from hundreds of schools around the country.

While U.S. News & World Report ended its print magazine in 2010, it still publishes online and a print version of its college rankings.

These are its top schools in the country — New Jersey schools are in bold:
