A new year brings new discoveries at Small Factory Productions! Join us for our winter session of enrichment and production classes starting the week of January 5, 2015 at our Hazlet Campus located within Speech Start at 1 Bethany Road Suite 60, Bldg 5 in Hazlet. Small Factory integrates STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) in all our classes and workshops throughout the year. To register call 732-212-1088 or register online here.
VIDEO GAME 101
Wednesdays, 4:00 – 5:15 pm (Ages 6+); 5:30 – 6:45 pm (Ages 8+)

In this class we learn the basics/fundamentals of Game Making. Starting out with a brick breaker style game, kids learn how to create sprites and objects. Then they code those objects to bring the game to life. Once we have the basics down they evolve their game with power ups and multiple levels of increasing difficulty. Cost is $225.
ANIMATION 101

Wednesdays, 4:00 – 5:15 pm (Ages 6+); 5:30 – 6:45 pm (Ages 8+)
Students will explore the basics of animation production. The basic techniques of setting up a character, using frames, tweening and onionskin will be learned. The final product will be a basic animation created entirely by the student. Cost is $225.
MUSIC LESSONS
Small Factory Productions believes each and every child has a unique and individual experience with music. We are devoted to tapping into each student’s unique inner musician and are committed to technology infused instruction methods, favoring progressive and personalized instruction. Each student’s experience is personalized by pace, direction and content of his age and ability. Oneonone lessons for all levels are also available in piano, voice, guitar, bass, and audio production utilizing Garage Band. Drum lessons can be arranged in home.
In studio: 1/2 hour • $30; 1 hour • $50
In your home: 1/2 hour • $45; 1 hour • $75
SOCIAL SKILLS
This class is a cooperative effort between Small Factory and Speech Start’s Bernadette Mullen. This group is appropriate for all children who have difficulty finding, making and remaining friends with peers. This group is great for children who have a known diagnosis or may just need a little social guidance. Cost is $50 per class. (Your insurance may cover this class).
