In this complex and ever changing world it is vital to the emotional health of our children to teach them the necessary E.Q. skills. Emotional intelligence is defined as being able to monitor our own and other’s feelings and emotions, to discriminate among them, and to use this to guide our thinking and actions. Raising E.Q. for students will not only help them achieve higher academically, but will help students with personal future endeavors as they make the transition to post-secondary options.
