Parlance Chamber Concerts launches its 19th season with two astonishing masterpieces written by Mozart and Schubert when they were just 19 years old: Mozart’s beloved “Turkish” Violin Concerto and Schubert’s Mozart-inspired Symphony No. 5.
Metropolitan Opera Orchestra Concertmaster Benjamin Bowman, praised by The New York Times for his “beautifully singing eloquence,” joins Members of the Met Orchestra under the direction of Parlance Artistic Director Michael Parloff. Together, they reveal the youthful freshness, lyricism, and astounding artistic maturity that announced the arrival of two of music’s greatest creative voices.

Mark your calendar for the Ridgewood Fall Craft &amp; Art Street Fair, a fun family-friendly event on Sunday, September 20, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. located on East Ridgewood Ave. in downtown Ridgewood, NJ. Each year thousands attend this once-a-year street fair from near and far. Two hundred exhibitors from four states will be highlighting arts, crafts, and photography. You are sure to find the perfect gift or something special for yourself at this vibrant outdoor event. Discover one-of-a-kind hand-crafted items, ranging from jewelry and art to pottery, stain glass, mixed media, woodwork, garden items, apparel, photography, home decor and so much more. 
A large food court will be set up in front of the park with a variety of delicious festival foods featuring fish, sausage and peppers, gyros, empanadas, steak sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, kebobs, zeppole, desserts and so much more. 
A large area dedicated to children's entertainment will feature a variety of inflatables, face painting, games, and items specifically catered to young attendees will be located on Walnut Street and in the park. Live music will be played near the food court. This is an unforgettable fun and exciting event you do not want to miss. Spend a day on the course while making a difference in the lives of children in foster care throughout Bergen County. Because every child deserves a fair shot.
This fun-filled day brings together our community of supporters to raise critical funds for the children we serve—abused and neglected youth in Bergen County’s foster care system. Please consider joining us as a sponsor, golfer, or dinner guest. We would love to see you there!

Your participation helps ensure that every foster child in Bergen County has a consistent, caring, and trained advocate by their side. Bergen County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is the only nonprofit in the county that recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers to advocate for children in the foster care system. These Advocates visit regularly, monitor well-being, and advocate in court for children’s medical, educational, and emotional needs—helping them heal and thrive.
