$800 Iphone Reported Stolen at Fanwood Recycling Center

Fanwood, NJ -- Multiple arrests were made in Fanwood this month including a man in possession of marijuana, according to the police blotter.
On March 19 between 8:30 a.m. and 1:03 p.m.: The victim reported an unknown person stole her Iphone while she was at the Fanwood Recycling Center on North Ave. The value of the phone is $ 800.
On March 15 at 7:13 p.m.: Officer made a M.V. stop in the 25 block of South Ave. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Plainfield. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Desiree Jones 26 year old female from Plainfield.

On March 14 at 4:01 p.m.: Officer on routine patrol in the area of Terrill Rd. and East Front St. did a random license plate check and the registered owner has an active warrant out of Princeton. The Officer made a M.V. stop to confirm that the driver was the registered owner. It was confirmed and the driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Ivy Wade 33 year old female from Plainfield.
On March 14 at 7:40 p.m.: Officer on routine patrol in the area of South Ave. and Second St. did a random license plate check and the registered owner has an active warrant out of Metuchen. The Officer made a M.V. stop to confirm that the driver was the registered owner. It was confirmed and the driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Wanda Howard 52 year old female from Plainfield.

On March 13 at 11:14 p.m.: Officer made a M.V. stop in the 180 block of South Ave. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of South Plainfield. The driver was arrested, processed and turned over to South Plainfield P.D. Defendant is a Ramon Sanchez 55 year old male from Piscataway.
On March 13 at 1:44 p.m.: Officer made a M.V. stop at Terrill Rd. and LaGrande Ave. for a M.V. violation. While the Officer was speaking with the driver he could detect a strong odor of suspected marijuana coming from the inside of the vehicle. The Officer asked the driver to step out of the vehicle so he could conduct a search of the vehicle. The Officer located the marijuana and the driver was placed under arrest, processed and charged with possession of marijuana. The driver was released pending his court appearance. Defendant is a James Kelley 24 year old male from Jersey City.
On March 9 at 12:35 p.m.: Officer made a M.V. stop in the 300 block of South Ave. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Dunellen. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Christopher Six 37 year old male from Staten Island, N.Y.
Between March 9 at 2:30 p.m. and March 10 at 7:57 a.m.: There was a report of criminal mischief to the P.S.E.& G. meter box belonging to the Forest Road Park building.
On March 1 at 11:20 a.m.: Officer made a M.V. stop in the 100 block of South Ave. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of North Plainfield. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Carlos Aldad-Acosta 23 year old male from Plainfield.
