Alleged Luring Of Young Girl Reported In Scotch Plains
Breaking: The vehicle pulled along side a 12-year-old girl and said "Get in the car."

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Scotch Plains Police are investigating an attempted luring incident of a 12-year-old girl.
A man driving a car on Park Avenue in Scotch Plains pulled alongside the girl around 7:35 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 7 and said "Get in the car," according to police.
The man is described to be 50 to 60 years old and possibly Hispanic or Asian.

The car is believed to be a Cadillac Katera with Pennsylvania registration, according to a video Scotch Plains Police were able to obtain.
"The police department will continue to have an increased presence around all schools," authorities announced.
