Pingry School Celebrates 150th Anniversary

In a press release from The Pingry School:

The Pingry School concluded its Sesquicentennial celebration on May 19, 2012 with a night to remember—the historic 150th Anniversary Gala, Pingry Family: A Foundation for Life.  This momentous occasion on the Martinsville Campus served as the culmination of the grandest year-long celebration in Pingry history.  Over 800 members of the Pingry community attended the once-in-a-lifetime event, including alumni from the 1940s through the 2000s, parents, former parents, grandparents, current and former faculty, and staff.

Co-Chaired by Sueanne Korn and Mary Margaret Lang, the Gala took place in an elegant tent in the school’s courtyard and featured dinner served by Laurence Craig Catering and dancing accompanied by the Eddie Bruce Band.  Board Chair John B. Brescher, Jr. ’65, Headmaster Nathaniel E. Conard, Lower School Director Theodore M. Corvino, Sr., and Sesquicentennial Chair Miller A. Bugliari ’52 each made remarks.
