ASL Interpreter at Scotch Plains Public Library Program

The Scotch Plains Library will use an ASL interpreter for a discussion on families who survived genocide and rebuilt their lives in America.

The Scotch Plains Public Library is pleased to announce that they will have an American Sign Language interpreter at a program for the first time. On Sunday, April 30 at 1pm, the Library will host a panel discussion as part of its Voices from the Margins series. In Survival, Remembrance, and Rebuilding, Survivors of the Holocaust and the Rwandan genocide, and a descendant of Armenian survivors, will share their families’ stories of starting life anew in America.

The Library strives to be more welcoming place for the entire community and make its programs accessible to all who attend. For more information, contact the Library at library@scotlib.org.
