Community Access Unlimited Welcomes New Members To Specialized Fanwood Home
- Community Access Unlimited (CAU) meets ongoing need for residential group housing -

Elizabeth, NJ — Community Access Unlimited (CAU) has opened its newest group home in downtown Fanwood. The property is a two-floor, four-bedroom, fully accessible residential space and is close to stores, restaurants, the railroad station and bus lines.
This house is now home for four members, three of whom are fairly new to CAU. The members are either coming from their parents' home or through the Emergency Capacity System (ECS). The (ECS) program at CAU provides emergency housing to individuals who are in need. Previously, CAU had only two locations, one in Roselle and one in Elizabeth, Fanwood is the third.
One member, Kevin Collazo, will soon enroll in the Rutgers Masters program to earn his masters – he already has a bachelor's degree in accounting – and a second, Aiden Bolan, has found a job at the Home Goods in nearby Clark.
"They love it here," said Aisha Arroyo, Assistant Executive Director. "Fanwood is a really nice area. There are summer festivals and they're really looking forward to that." The members are joined by eight staff members in this lovely completely refurbished home.
