El Paso Times: Fanwood Native Critical to UTEP's Hunt for NCAA Title

Derrick Caracter is playing a key role in the University of Texas - El Paso's attempt to win an NCAA title.

The Fanwood native has a long record of stellar basketball performances. He originally spent two seasons at the University of Louisville before transferring to UTEP. In high school, he was a star player during his time at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High and St. Patrick's of Elizabeth.
