The PJF was started in 1991 to assist Paul Jackson who became paralyzed from a surgery to remove a spinal cord tumor. After he no longer needed the assistance of the Fund, Paul took control of it, and assisted those most in need. After a courageous battle with cancer, Paul passed away last year.
