Fanwood Halloween Parade and Costume Contest is Tonight
During this time, Fanwood Police announced that Martine Avenue will be closed from 6:15 through 6:45 p.m. for the Halloween Parade.

FANWOOD, NJ — Today is Halloween and it's time to break out those costumes. The annual Fanwood Halloween Parade and Costume Contest begins at 4:45 p.m.on Monday.
The event will include a Sleepy Hollow Halloween Show on the front lawn of the Fanwood Memorial Library at North Avenue and Forest Road in Fanwood.
The Halloween Parade starts at 6:15 p.m. Children and adults should assemble in front of the Library by 6 p.m. and the parade will depart for La Grande Park.

Once the parade arrives at La Grande Park, at approximately 6:30 p.m., the Costume Contest will begin for children of all ages.

Anyone who wants to enter a pumpkin in the Jack-o-Lantern Contest should bring his or her carved creation to the park and fill out an entry form by 6:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and the best jack-o-lanterns/
Free cider, donuts and coffee will be available.
