Fanwood Holiday Giving Tree To Help Union County Kids

The Fanwood PBA Local 123 and the Borough are collecting educational toys and books this year for Union County children.

FANWOOD, NJ — The Fanwood PBA Local 123 and the Borough of Fanwood are collecting educational toys and books this year for the children of Union County's Parents as Teachers program.

Ornaments will be placed on the Holiday Giving Tree at municipal hall, 75 North Matine Ave., with the age and sex of the child. Ornaments can be picked up beginning Nov. 21.

"These gifts being such a bright spot to these impoverished families making their holiday season joyous," the borough posted.

All unwrapped gifts should be delivered to Dianna Howarth at the Fanwood Police Department from Nov. 27 through Dec. 6.
