Fanwood Man Accused of Tire Slashings
James McCann, 56, was charged with eight counts of criminal mischief.

A Fanwood man has been arrested after police say he used a sharp object to puncture and slash tires outside the Fanwood A&P and Fanwood Liquors on South Avenue.
Several shoppers came out of the stores between 6 and 8 p.m. on Tuesday to find their tires had been slashed.
James McCann, 56, was charged with eight counts of criminal mischief. McCann was moved to the Union County Jail with bail set at $16,000.
