Fire Breaks Out At Home In Union County Wednesday
Crews from around the region were brought in to assist.

PLAINFIELD, NJ — A second-alarm fire broke out on Wednesday evening at a multi-story home in Plainfield, the North Plainfield Fire Department said.
At around 6:50 p.m., firefighters from multiple agencies responded to the 300 block of Bergen St. for a report of a structure fire.

The Plainfield Fire Department, South Plainfield Volunteer Fire Department, Westfield Fire Department, and North Plainfield Fire Department all assisted on scene.

The Fanwood Fire Department covered the City of Plainfield for the potential of other emergencies and also had a crew respond to the scene along Bergen Street.
