Free Gun Locks For Fanwood Residents

To help keep borough children safe, the Fanwood Police department is offering free gun locks to residents.

Fanwood, NJ -- Fanwood Police are helping to keep borough children safe.

As part of Project Child Safe, the Fanwood Police Department in conjunction with the US Department of Justice, will be providing gun locks to Fanwood residents free.

"If you own a firearm, whether a handgun, rifle or shotgun, we can provide you with a cable locking device to help you secure the weapon," Fanwood Police announced.

In order to get a lock, you must be a Fanwood resident. The locks are available at police headquarters and supplies are limited.
