FSPY Swimmers Shine at 2025 YMCA Long Course Nationals

Ocala, FL — The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA (FSPY) Swim Team delivered a strong performance at the 2025 YMCA Long Course National Championships, held July 29–August 2 at the Florida Aquatics Swimming and Training (FAST) facility in Ocala, Florida.

Twenty-two swimmers proudly represented FSPY at the meet. The team had a successful showing, finishing 12th overall in the combined standings. Both the women’s and men’s teams also placed 12th in their respective categories.

Highlights of meet:

Jane Kavanagh set a new team record in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:20.80, placing 11th in the event.
