Multiple Struck and Stranded Cars in Scotch Plains

Police Department is "strongly urging resident to not attempt to drive on the roads."

Scotch Plains, NJ -- The Scotch Plains Police Department is strongly urging residents to not attempt to drive on the roads tonight.

Police reported multiple struck and stranded cars along many roads that are blocking snow removal operations.

“If you drive tonight and get stuck, get to safety or call 911 to get you to a safe place. However, your car will be put on a list for removal,” police reported. “Tow trucks may not reach your car an extended period of time.”

“Please let our emergency crews do their jobs by staying home,” Police reported on Facebook.
