• Football: Scotch Plains-Fanwood Rallies Past North Hunterdon, 33-22 (tapinto.net) — Scotch Plains-Fanwood's football team finally broke through for its first win of the season, rallying in the fourth quarter to beat North Hunterdon, 33-22. Quarterback Marcus Schomberg's pinpoint passing and Avery Snow's big rushing night powered the comeback, giving local fans new optimism before the Raiders visit South Plainfield on Friday, Oct. 2.
   

• NJIB's Guide to New Jersey Fall Farmers Markets (newjerseyisntboring.com) — Scotch Plains residents can count on the Scotch Plains Farmers Market at 430 Park Avenue every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Thanksgiving, with fresh local produce, baked goods, and specialty foods. It's one of many fall markets statewide, but offers a convenient weekly way to support nearby farmers and artisans right in town.
   

• Wardlaw+Hartridge Celebrates Hispanic History Month (tapinto.net) — A Scotch Plains seventh-grader at Wardlaw+Hartridge is helping lead the Middle School's World Cup of Music project, part of the school's broader Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. Students across grades are exploring Hispanic culture, food, landmarks, and music, while the Upper School's Hispanic Latinx Alliance plans presentations and activities throughout the month.
