IN SHORT
In a game that appeared to be evenly matched from the beginning, it took nearly 25 minutes before Scotch Plains was able to pull ahead off a goal by senior Travis Cortes (10). Chatham was never able to respond and Scotch Plains padded their lead when senior Ryan McKenna (16) scored another goal less than 10 minutes after the start of the second half. The win grabbed the Raiders the Sectional Championship.
