A resident of Front Street in Scotch Plains was the victim of a burglary last week. He reported to township police Tuesday, May 25 that an unknown suspect or suspects entered his car by prying open a window. Once inside, the suspect or suspects removed $25 in cash, police said.

- A resident of Harding Road reported being a victim of harassment. He stated that an unknown suspect or suspects threw a rock at him from a motor vehicle while he was walking in the street.
Tuesday, May 25:
- A resident of Rahway Road reported being a victim of fraud. He stated that an unknown suspect or suspects cashed a check without his authorization. The check was valued at about $750.
- Police arrested Henry Delphin, 36, of Overlook Avenue in West Orange, for possession of marijuana. Sgt. Sellinger stopped Delphin for a motor vehicle violation and discovered that Delphin had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. After further investigation, Delphin was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released.

- A resident of Riverdale Court reported being a victim of criminal mischief. She stated that an unknown suspect or suspects damaged a fence in front of her house. The fence was valued at about $60.
Friday, May 28:
- Police arrested Rowland Adeyemo, 25, of North Avenue in Scotch Plains, for an outstanding warrant. Officer Bruschetti stopped Adeyemo for a motor vehicle violation and discovered the warrant. Adeyemo was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released.
Saturday, May 29:
- Police arrested Ricardo Gayle, 21, of East Front Street in Plainfield, for an outstanding warrant. Officer Belford stopped Gayle for a motor vehicle violation and discovered the warrant. Gayle was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released.
Sunday, May 30:
- Police arrested Joseph Prince, 47, of Terrill Road in Scotch Plains, for an outstanding warrant. Officer Belford stopped Prince for a motor vehicle violation and discovered the warrant. Prince was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released.
