Sister Percylee Hart, RSM and Union Catholic Students attended the Installation Mass for Cardinal Tobin

Newark, NJ - The Installation Mass was held on Friday at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark.

Union Catholic seniors Sean Dorcellus ’17 and Sophia Tangreti ’17 joined Principal Sister Percylee Hart, RSM for a very special and memorable event on Friday when they attended the Installation Mass for Cardinal Joseph Tobin, the new archbishop of the Archdiocese of Newark.

Dorcellus, the President of the Student Council, and Tangreti, the Secretary of the Student Council, were the only two catholic school student representatives that were chosen to attend the mass, which was held at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark.

Tobin, chosen by Pope Francis this past October to be a cardinal, comes to Newark from Indianapolis, where he was the archbishop.
