Six Arrests Made In June By Scotch Plains Police

Six people were arrested in June in Scotch Plains for having active warrants, trespassing: blotter

Scotch Plains, NJ - Six arrests were made by Scotch Plains police during the month of June, according to the blotter.

  • Scotch Plains Police Blotter:

On June 1: Alfred Voelker, age 22, of Scotch Plains was arrested on an Outstanding Warrant. Off. Cheney conducted a motor vehicle stop on Martine Ave. and discovered Voelker had an active warrant out of both Westfield and Fanwood Municipal Courts. Voelker was transported to headquarters for processing.

On June 5: John Beadling, age 23, of Rahway was arrested for an Outstanding Warrant. Off. Fiore conducted a motor vehicle stop on Raritan Rd. and discovered the driver, Beadling, had an active warrant out of the Scotch Plains Municipal Court. Beadling was transported to headquarters for processing.

On June 23: Samuel V. Hanciles, age 27, of Scotch Plains was arrested for Defiant Trespassing at the 7-11 on Park Avenue.

On June 25: Richard Gomez, age 29, of Plainfield was arrested for an active warrant following a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. Mahoney.

On June 26: Robert C. Tolan, age 47, of Linden was arrested for an active warrant after a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. Mahoney.

On June 27: Johnie T. Sirmans, age 38, of Fanwood was arrested for a warrant following a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. Lavery.

On June 29: A resident of Plainfield reported that his wallet was stolen at the Robert Wood Johnson fitness center on Lamberts Mill Road.

On July 3: Ibn H. Ali, age 28, of Newark was arrested for Possession and Distribution of Marijuana. The marijuana was discovered during an investigation following a motor vehicle stop conducted by Off. Lavery.
