Sketch Of Suspect Involved In Robbery Of 2 Teens Released By Fanwood Police

FANWOOD, NJ — Fanwood Police released this sketch of a suspect in the robbery of two teenagers in town in early July.

The robbery occurred on Saturday, July 2 around 11:57 p.m. near the corner of Russell Road and Watson Road.

"An older model Nissan or Honda pulled up and asked where 7-Eleven was. The boys gave them directions and, shortly thereafter, the car pulled up again. Three or four black males between the ages of 18 and 25 jumped out and told them, 'Don't run, don't scream' and reached into the boys pockets and stole their phones, a wallet and car keys," according to the Fanwood Police.
