SP-F, Union Catholic Score Wins in UCT Track and Field Champs

Scotch Plains-Fanwood and Union Catholic track and field members put their skills to the test against the rest of Union County Friday in day one of the 2010 Union County Tournament.

Among the notable finishes were Union Catholic's DJ Thornton, who scored first place in the boys 1600 meter run; Scotch Plains' Frank Mellana, who scored first place in boys javelin throw; and Scotch Plains' Kim Wenson, who scored first place in girls shot put.
