SpeakAbility Toastmasters Host Open House in Fanwood

Event is free to the public

SpeakAbility Toastmasters http://www.speakabilitytoastmasters.com, invites the community to an open house to meet members and participate in a highly interactive meeting on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 7:45pm, Forest Road Park Building, Forest Road Park, Fanwood, NJ.

“SpeakAbility Toastmasters provides a supportive and positive environment where members have the opportunity to develop their communication and leadership skills,” says Michelle Tropper, DTM, Toastmaster for the evening, Sargeant-At-Arms for SpeakAbility Toastmasters and Division E Director for Toastmasters District 83.

Members and guests will enjoy a regular Toastmasters meeting that will include prepared speeches, Table Topics™ (impromptu speeches) and evaluations. Light refreshments will be served.

SpeakAbility Treasurer and Secretary, Sumantha Prasad, CC, will be the Table Topics master. “Table Topics are one of my favorite parts of the meeting,” says Prasad. “This is where guests and members are randomly selected to speak extemporaneously for one to two minutes. It helps you think and speak clearly on your feet.”

Other speakers for the evening include Prashant Mehrotra, Gino Merendino, CTM, VP of Public Relations and Michael Edwards, CC, President, SpeakAbility Toastmasters.
