Two Fanwood Home Burglaries Under Investigation

Two occupied Fanwood homes were burglarized on Farley and North avenues last week, police said.

The homes were entered sometime between 10 p.m. Thursday and 7:45 a.m. Friday, Fanwood Police Chief Richard Trigo said. One home was located on the 80 block of Farley Avenue and the other was on the 100 block of North Avenue, Trigo said.

One home was entered through an unlocked door, Trigo said. A screen was cut and entry was gained through an unlocked window in the other burglary, Trigo said.

Fanwood Police responded and processed the scenes. Anyone with information or anyone who might have observed any suspicious or unusual activity should contact Detective Sgt. Chin at 908-322-5000, ext 119.
