UCC Men's Soccer Hosts Free Clinic

Boys and girls are invited to meet the team before its game Saturday, Oct. 1, according to the press release below, which the college distributed Sept. 23.

In conjunction with the National Foundation for Cancer Research and the “Kick It to Cancer” campaign, Union County College’s men’s soccer team will host a free youth soccer clinic on Saturday, Oct. 1, at Nomahegan Park in Cranford. Boys and girls from all area towns are invited to come meet the players and have the opportunity to learn soccer skills and tips. Registration will be held from 9 to 9:30 a.m., and the clinic will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Immediately following the clinic, the men's soccer team will play Gloucester County College. The game will begin at 12 p.m. and all are invited to attend. The team will be wearing something pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During the game, the announcer will be sharing facts and statistics about cancer and the “Kick It to Cancer” Foundation.
