Willow Grove Swimming Club to host Navigators Paralympic Sport Club on August 26th
Fresh off their latest Jr. National Disability Championship title, the North Jersey Navigators Paralympic Sports club will be hosted for their annual awards picnic by the Willow Grove Swim Club in Scotch Plains on Saturday August 26th. The Navigators are a Paralympic sport team comprised of 18 athletes from the tri-state area. They compete in track and field, swimming, archery and other Olympic style events. The club’s athletes compete at local, national and international competitions. Some current and former members hold national records and are decorated Paralympians and world ranked para - athletes. The Navigators swimming coach is Norm Swenson, a Scotch Plains resident and President of Willow Grove Swimming Club.
