Woman Reports Inappropiate Touching At Scotch Plains Restaurant
Multiple incidents of criminal mischief, burglary, DWI and drug possession were also reported in Scotch Plains: Police blotter.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — A woman reported being the victim of inappropriate touching at a Scotch Plains restaurant.
On Dec. 2 at 2:26 a.m., the victim said while she was attending a formal party at a local restaurant in town someone came from behind while she was standing and inappropriately grabbed her. The incident is under investigation.

On Dec. 1: William Mckellar, 52, from North Plainfield, was arrested for DWI during a motor vehicle stop after observing several moving violations. During a brief interview, Williams was determined to be impaired.
On Dec. 2: Janet Dillon reported William Hannam, 27, missing. She states that the last time she spoke with Williams was on Dec. 1. At this time, no foul play is suspected.

On Dec. 4: A resident on the 300 block of Willow Ave. reported criminal mischief to their vehicle. The resident reported that someone placed screws in the two rear tires of their vehicle.
On Dec. 5: A resident in the 400 block of Stout Avenue reported an incident of criminal mischief. The victim stated someone throw eggs at his 2014 BMW sometime overnight causing damage to the paint. The incident is under investigation.
On Dec. 5: Michael Mandes, 21, of South Plainfield and Jamina Morris, 20, of Edison were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana during a motor vehicle stop. Both occupants were transported to headquarters and processed.
On Dec.7: A Scotch Plains resident reported the theft of his wallet from a locker at the YMCA located at 1340 Martine Ave. in Scotch Plains. The incident is currently under investigation.
On Dec. 8: Desiree C. Young, 28, of Edison was arrested on outstanding warrants out of Scotch Plains, South Plainfield, Old Bridge, Newark, and Jersey City during a motor vehicle stop. Young was then transported to headquarters and processed.
On Dec. 10: Christopher T. Richards, 23, of South Plainfield was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Scotch Plains during a motor vehicle stop. Richards was then transported to headquarters and processed.
On Dec. 11: Babatunde A. Dahunsi, 25, of Hillside was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Scotch Plains. Dahunsi was then transported to headquarters and processed.
On Dec. 11: Marcus A. Rivera, 24, of Mountainside was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Scotch Plains. Rivera was then transported to headquarters and processed.
On Dec. 12: Nicole N. Brown, 26, of Union was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop. Brown was then transported to headquarters and processed.
On Dec. 12: A resident in the 2000 block of Wood Road reported a burglary to their vehicle. The vehicle was left unlocked and had miscellaneous items taken from vehicle. The incident occurred during the overnight hours.
On Dec. 12: Joseph Appezzato, 51, of Scotch Plains was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Fanwood during a motor vehicle stop. Appezzato was then transported to headquarters and processed.
On Dec. 13: A resident in the 1300 block of Martine Avenue reported a fraud. Someone opened several credit cards in victim’s name.
On Dec. 14: Carmen M. Lopez, 45, of Plainfield was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Scotch Plains.
On Dec. 14: Ibeth Mendoza-Vega, 32, of Hawthorne was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Madison during a motor vehicle stop. Mendoza-Vega was then transported to headquarters and processed.
On Dec. 14: Tori Hocker, 19, of Trenton was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and weapons possession during a motor vehicle stop. Hocker was then transported to headquarters and processed.
On Dec. 16: A resident of the senior citizen housing located at 2002 Lake Avenue reported criminal mischief to her vehicle. The vehicle’s paint was scratched multiple times while parked in the lot.
On Dec. 16: A representative from Coldwell Realtors reported criminal mischief to a sign located on a property they are selling in the 300 block of Cook Avenue.
On Dec. 17: Velma B. Onyoni, 26, of Rahway was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Woodbridge during a motor vehicle stop. Onyoni was then transported to headquarters and processed.
