Women in Harmony is the brainchild of Debbie Shapiro, retired music teacher from the Scotch Plains-Fanwood school district. While she adored teaching children, it was always her dream to conduct an adult group of community women in three-part harmony. In nine short months, she led the group from their first rehearsal to a hugely successful concert in June 2025, with plans for more.
