Bomb Threat Called Into Secaucus Hospital, Not Founded

A bomb threat was called into Hudson Regional Hospital just past 3 p.m. Monday, said Secaucus Police.

SECAUCUS, NJ — At a time when bomb threats were called in to multiple Costcos and grocery stores across New Jersey Monday, a bomb threat was called into the Secaucus hospital Monday afternoon.

A bomb threat was called into Hudson Regional Hospital just past 3 p.m. Monday, said Secaucus Police. It was investigated and deemed not credible, but canine units from the Hudson County Sheriff's office and other local police agencies still did a sweep of the hospital Monday afternoon.

The hospital was not evacuated.

Drivers were asked to avoid Meadowlands Parkway.

At this exact same time on Monday — at or shortly after 3 p.m. — bomb threats were called into the North Brunswick Costco and the Hoboken ShopRite. Both were found to be unfounded. Police have not said if there is any connection.
