Hackensack Riverkeeper Thanks Secaucus Business For Their Generosity
Today, Hackensack Riverkeeper announced they reached their end-of-year 2022 fundraising goal, thanks in part to Wilenta Feed's generosity.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Back in December, Patch reported that Secaucus-based Wilenta Feed would match any year-end donations to Hackensack Riverkeeper by up to $2,500.
Now today, Hackensack Riverkeeper announced that they reached their end-of-year 2022 fundraising goal, thanks in part to Wilenta's generosity.
"We want to extend our sincere gratitude toward Wilenta Feed for their continued support of our organization and for assisting us in furthering our mission to protect, preserve and restore the Hackensack River!" said the Riverkeeper, based in Secaucus.

Wilenta Feed, Inc. produces cattle and chicken feed in the industrial section of town; they are in the food recycling business. What they do is take all byproducts from bakeries in Hudson County and the North Jersey area, and convert those products into food for chickens. They also take vegetable scraps from restaurants and convert it into cattle feed.
Their plant is located on Henry Street in Secaucus.
