Man With Toddler Found In Stolen Car In Secaucus, Police Say

A man with a 2-year-old was found inside a car Sunday night in Secaucus; the car was reported stolen out of Jersey City, police said.

SECAUCUS, NJ — A man with a 2-year-old was found inside a car Sunday night in Secaucus that had been reported stolen out of Jersey City, police said.

The car was first seen on Meadowlands Parkway.

At 9:34 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, Secaucus Police ran the license plates of the 2008 Chrysler Pacifica that was parked in the parking lot of 20 Meadowlands Parkway.

"The officer conducted a random inquiry of the license plate and determined the vehicle was stolen," said Police Chief Dennis Miller.

The car was found to reported stolen out of Jersey City.

Ramone Brown, 23, of Jersey City, was charged with receiving stolen property and child endangerment. Brown was also found to have one outstanding NCIC warrant from NJ State Parole.

He was issued his complaint warrant along with two motor vehicle summonses and was taken to the Hudson County Jail.
